Domaine Meriwether Brut Cuvee Discovery NV

Wine Spectator: 87 points
“Dry, elegant style offers pear and white pepper aromas and flavors and fine texture, layered with faint hints of toast and cream that resonate on the subtle finish. Drink now.” – Harvey Steinman

Domaine Meriwether 1998 Captain William Clark’s Cuvee

Wine Enthusiast: 90 points
“This new brand previously released their second label brut (Discovery), but this is the more “serious” offering. It’s a 100% barrel fermented blend of Pinot Noir (60%) and Chardonnay (40%). Youthful and fresh, it sports generous, tiny bubbles and a yeasty vitality. Green apples and a hint of apricot lead into and elegant, toasty finish.” Editors’ Choice.
